- You own the content you enter. We use it only to operate the Service.
- Subscriptions are billed by Stripe; cancel anytime and keep access through your paid period.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Growth Plans(the “Service”). By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Growth Plans provides tools to create, manage, and export engineering skill gap analyses and growth plans. The Service is intended for informational and organizational purposes only.
2. No Professional Advice
The Service does not provide legal, financial, medical, HR, or career placement advice. Any templates, suggestions, or outputs are general and may not be accurate or appropriate for your situation. You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on the Service.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
4. User Content
“User Content” means any text, data, or materials you submit to the Service (such as plans, notes, ratings, or uploads). You retain ownership of your User Content.
You grant Growth Plans a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, transmit, and display your User Content solely to operate, maintain, and provide the Service (including sync features, if enabled).
You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to provide User Content and that it does not violate applicable laws or third-party rights.
5. Pro Subscription, Billing, and Refunds
Certain features may require a paid subscription (“Pro”). Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscription terms, billing frequency, taxes, and receipts are presented at checkout.
Cancellation: You may cancel at any time. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, you will retain access through the end of your current paid period and will not be charged again.
Refunds: Except where required by law, we do not provide refunds or credits for partial periods, unused time, or downgrade changes.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service. For example, you may not:
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data
- interfere with or disrupt the Service, including abuse of rate limits or probing
- use the Service to violate laws or third-party rights
- introduce malware or attempt to compromise security
- reverse engineer the Service except where permitted by law
7. Availability and Changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time, including features, pricing, and availability. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW,Growth Plans DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Growth Plans WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Growth Plans’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO Growth Plans FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) $100.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Growth Plans from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if we believe you have violated these Terms or if required by law. You may stop using the Service at any time.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict of laws rules.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective date” above reflects the latest version. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
