This Privacy Policy explains how Growth Plans (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and services (the “Service”).

1. Information We Collect

Account information

If you create an account, our authentication provider (Clerk) processes your login information (such as email address and authentication tokens). We receive an identifier for your account and limited profile information needed to operate the Service.

Billing information

If you purchase a subscription, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details. We receive subscription and payment status information (such as customer ID, subscription ID, plan, and billing status) to provide Pro features and customer support.

Content you provide

You may enter or upload content such as skill gap analyses, growth plans, notes, and other materials (“User Content”). Depending on your chosen features (e.g., sync), this content may be stored locally in your browser and/or stored on our servers to provide cross-device access.

Usage and diagnostic data

We may collect basic usage and diagnostic data (for example, page views, performance metrics, and error logs) to maintain and improve the Service. This data may be collected via hosting and analytics tools.

2. How We Use Information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Authenticate users and secure accounts
  • Process subscriptions and manage Pro entitlements
  • Respond to support requests
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues

3. How We Share Information

We share information with service providers that help us operate the Service, including:

  • Clerk (authentication)
  • Stripe (payments and subscriptions)
  • Hosting/Infrastructure (e.g., hosting provider and database provider)

We may also share information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer (e.g., acquisition).

4. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service and fulfill legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated server-stored data by contacting us.

  • You can access and update certain account details through the Service.
  • You may cancel your subscription through the Service or Stripe portal.
  • You may request account deletion by emailing us.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children

The Service is not intended for children under 13 (or the age defined by local law), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
